Corkscrew Swamp

Been down with bronchitis, but David and I had tickets to a play so I went down to see him. We stopped at Corkscrew Swamp to take a walk on the way down. I wasn't up to carrying the big camera, but here are the pictures that I did take.

My sweetheart, always my favorite sighting of the day.

There were a ton of purple irises out there.

My second favorite sighting of the day was a skink who was kind enough to pose for me. I love these guys.

A little red flower whose name I don't recall.  I was still on cough syrup.

I don't remember the name of this thing either but I thought it was cool looking, it looked like a planet exploding with satellites around it.
