Ok, so many years ago, David and I were working the Audubon booth at the Enchanted Forest in Titusville on Earth Day. As we sat there, David noticed a ruby-throated hummingbird, and then noticed that it had a nest directly over our booth! We were so happy to be able to share this unbelievable coincidence with the festival goers. Here is a picture from that day:
So yesterday, David and I were working the Women in the Outdoors event at Quail Creek. And he noticed a hummingbird... who had a nest directly over our booth. I was (and still am) astounded. What are the chances of this happening not once, but twice in a life time?? It's not a great picture, but I was afraid no one would believe this happened twice, so I'm posting the picture from yesterday:
